FIVE FAVOURITES OF NOVEMBER

Only just now I have had the time to sit down and talk you through all of my favourite things of November. November has been such a busy month that has literally gone by in a blur. I feel like I have been on autopilot this past month, with how busy I was. I can barely remember any of the things that have happened in that month. That’s probably the reason why it took me a little longer to write down a list of all the things I have loved in November.

ZARA black knit

The first thing I have loved and basically spent of November in, is this lovely black knit. This knit is an old favourite of mine from ZARA. I love being cosy and comfortable at night, so as soon as the temperatures dropped, I got this bad boy out again. I feel like this knit is the definition of comfy and cosiness, which was just what I needed to feel like in November. This jumper has been worn about a million times during the past month and I am still not sick of it, just like last year.

Tigi Bed Head Oh Bee Hive dry shampoo

November was the month where I rediscovered my love for dry shampoo. I think I can count the amount of times I washed my hair in November on two hands… Which is actually pretty gross to think about it now. It’s definitely not something I am all to proud of. But because I have been so busy, November was one of those months where I really didn’t get to take proper care of myself (or my hair). So that’s why I had to get my trusty old bottles of dry shampoos out again. I tried multiple over the course of the month, but just absolutely fell back in love with this Oh Bee Hive one by Tigi. It’s the perfect dry shampoo that I love to spray in at night, leave it in overnight and then just brush through it in the morning. After I have used this dry shampoo my hair just gets an instant volume boost that all the people I have seen in November have commented on how lovely and voluminous my hair looked.

Manfield combat boots

So now that it’s proper cold and rainy, it’s also that time of year to get my boots out again. I love these particular Manfield combat boots so much. I also got these boots last year and back then I already wore them lots. It comes as no surprise that I got these boots back out of my shoedrobe again as soon as a couple of leaves started to fall from the trees. These boots are super comfortable to walk in and look so cool with any kind of outfit.

Becca Backlight Priming Filter

During the months of October and November I really started to notice that I had completely lost any of the tan I had build up during the summer. The darker mornings and the lack of sleep really made me look super pale and gray. This meant that I could really use some skincare and makeup products that gave me back that lovely holiday glow. I was slowly turning into Casper the Friendly ghost and it started to annoy me a bit. That’s why I started looking through some of my older Five Favourites posts, which is when I rediscovered this primer. I repurchased it by the end of October and was already loving this product and the effect it had on my skin by the third day of November. I have loved using the Becca Backlight Priming Filter ever since, because it makes my skin glow and I feel more alive because of it.

L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream

My final favourite of November is one that immediately came to mind. It’s one of those products that I have used throughout the whole month of November. The autumn and winter months are always those months where I get super dry hands because of the cold weather. I hate having dry hands as they usually make them look super cracked and old. That’s why I went back to one of my all time favourite hand creams, the L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream. I used up my last tube in the beginning of November and immediately started to panic afterwards. The thought of having to go two days without it, was really making me feel anxious. So as soon as I got out of class at university, I went into town to repurchase this hand cream. I love using this one because it’s so extremely moisturising and makes my hands super smooth and soft!
