COSYING UP FOR SOME CHRISTMAS SHOPPING

It feels like a little while since I last sat down to write a blog post. In reality it’s only been a couple of days, but this past week has felt like the longest week of my life. As you may or may not know I finally handed in my final assessment of the semester on Monday. After spending most of my weekend typing away because I once again started too late, I just needed to have a little break from my laptop screen. That’s why I spent most of my afternoon reading a book and watching a couple of Christmas films.

Now that I finally have a little bit of spare time, I feel like I can finally enjoy Christmas to its fullest now. So these past couple of days I just spent my day strolling around town, doing some last minute Christmas shopping. It’s one of the things I have been looking forward to so much ever since the beginning of December.

It’s been super cold lately though, so it’s super important that I keep myself feeling super snug while I am walking around town. I usually go into town by scooter, which always makes me feel like a little ice cube. Some of my winter coats definitely aren’t warm enough to wear while I am driving into town. So I always try to layer up so I know I will be warm. It’s no surprise that this week I have been reaching for all the super cosy and snuggly clothes to keep me warm on my scooter en in town. That’s why I love to wear is a super cosy and warm jumper. Underneath I usually have a couple of extra layers on, like a tank top and a t-shirt. This way I can wear my pretty winter coats without actually freezing.

To keep myself even warmer I also love wearing a super big and cosy scarf during this time of year. It’s such an essential to have some sort of scarf to wear when you’re out and about to keep yourself snuggled up. I especially love it when my scarfs are so big they almost look like a blanket. This way I can keep myself and my ears super warm and I don’t have to worry about catching a cold or anything like that.

Now my biggest mistake earlier this week was wearing trainers while driving into town. I had my ankles out, and omg… my ankles were frozen. I decided to not make that mistake again and went for my lace up ankle boots. This way I can keep my ankles warm and but also look a bit fashionable while walking around town. I am so happy these sort of boots came back in style, because not only are they super functional, they also look quite stylish.
