A GUIDE TO A CITY BREAK IN LISBON

Back at the end of March I spent a weekend in Lisbon with my cousins and had such a glorious time. I was already planning on doing a little city guide on Lisbon, but a couple of you lovelies also asked me to do it, which confirmed it to me: I needed to post my Lisbon city guide as soon as possible…

36 HOURS IN MILAN

First of all I would like to apologize for the absence on here. Last week was my first real week back to reality after my summer holiday and it hit me harder than expected and to top it off, I also went to Milan for the weekend. This basically left me with no time and energy to blog, so I decided to take a little break. But I’m back now and I thought I would start off with a blog post about my trip to Milan.

My cousin and I booked a very impromptu little city break trip to Milan two weeks ago. We were both very excited to explore a new city, as we both had never been to Milan before. We knew it was going to be warm there, so we came prepared and brought SPF with us. We left on Friday morning for Milan and we arrived in the city center at around 1 o’clock.

36 HOURS IN BRUSSELS

The last time I was in Brussels I was just about 11. I went with my aunt and my cousins on a little girl trip but can't remember much else about the trip. Going back to Brussels to experience it as a grown up has been something I had been dying to do. So when my friend treated me to a little birthday trip to Brussels, I was jumping at the opportunity to shoot lots of new blog content there. Brussels was such a gorgeous city that I had to share on the blog. This only proves that as a Dutchie you don't have to travel that far to discover a brand new, beautiful city. We travelled there by train and it only took us three hours!

In today's post I'll talk you through all the things my friend and I did while we were there, as well as sharing some of my favourite little coffee, brunch and lunch spots with you.

THE CITY GUIDE | EDINBURGH

Edinburgh honestly has been one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. All its little cobblestone streets and closes make you feel like you're walking around in a whole other world. I already have seen so many beautiful spots and discovered so many amazing lunch spots while I was in Edinburgh, but I still feel like I haven't seen it all. I am currently recommending Edinburgh to literally everyone I talk to and I am dying to go back soon. All of my recommendations will be written down below, so if you're ever close by, or if you're planning a trip to Edinburgh, then just keep reading!

THE CITY GUIDE | MARBELLA CITY GUIDE

I am back from my holiday and I am kicking things off with another city guide! I have been really loving doing these posts lately, as you could have seen in my previous City Guide posts. This time I will be sharing all of my favourite places in Marbella with you. I have been coming here for as long as I can remember, so it's safe to say that I know my way around.

Over the past two to three years, I have been really into discovering new places around town and I definitely made a little shortlist of the places you need to visit while you're in Marbella!

THE CITY GUIDE | THE HAGUE PT. II

I'm back with yet another The Hague City Guide. After posting PT. I of my City Guide, it only felt right to continue sharing my favourite spots with you. In this post I will be sharing my favourite places for comfort food, ice cream, evening drinks, where to shop, my favourite museums and some more sightseeing.

THE CITY GUIDE | THE HAGUE PT. I

The Hague. The city where I grew up in. The city I never used to appreciate, with its gorgeous architecture, the museums and all the lovely places I like going. Now that I am older, I love my hometown more than ever and I want to share this beautiful city with you. In this post I wil share all the best places to eat, chill and what to sightsee in The Hague.

Part II of the The Hague City Guide will be going up next week. This post will include even more places to eat, where to go for drinks in the evening, my favourite museums and shops in this town.
