It’s that time of season(?) again, I was actually going to say it’s that time of year again but I’m not sure if that’s right, since I write these posts twice a year. But anyway, it’s that time of year again where I feel like I have managed to find all the essentials in my life to get through two seasons. This post always takes a lot of time as it comes with thinking about what kind of items you want to wear and like during a season, as well as buying the clothes. Now I am going to be brutally honest, this post usually takes me a while to post because I can’t afford to buy all of these clothes all at once.

I am super excited to share my A/W 2018/2019 wardrobe essentials with you though. I feel like I have really curated my wardrobe and added some interesting items to really spice up my wardrobe.

If you know me or if you have been following my blog for a couple of years then you would definitely know that I am a trainers kinda gal. I am never really one to wear heels or heeled boots and I only recently started wearing my low ankle boots again. However, I would still always prefer to wear a pair of trainers instead. Being comfortable is one of the most important things in life, especially as I am a uni student and spend most of my day either in class or at the library. Comfort is everything in my life, but I also like to think that it’s super normal to wear trainers, as most Dutch people tend to be wearing trainers. All of my girl friends I hang out with can usually be found wearing trainers. So it has become pretty normal for me to just wear trainers every day. In today’s post I thought it would be super fun to share a few of my favourite trainers.

When it comes to creating a timeless autumn wardrobe I feel like I am pretty much sorted. To me it’s so important to have these staples in wardrobe for every season. Autumn happens to be my favourite seasons of the year when it comes to fashion. I always have the best time creating outfits for this season. Some days however, I never really know what to wear, even during this season. That’s why I thought it would be fun to dedicate a post to how you can build a timeless autumn wardrobe with some key pieces. This way you can always go back to those basics and are able to look good even when you don’t really know what to wear.

Summer is in full swing and the weather here in the Netherlands has been absolutely glorious! I am definitely here for this sort of weather and wish I wouldn’t be stuck inside at an office a few days a week so I could spend some more time outside to enjoy the weather. Anyway, since we have had such a great summer, I thought it would be fun to share my summer fashion essentials with you. These are basically all the things I have worn lots during the past few weeks and I would consider as summer fashion essentials.

Summer is in full swing and I love it so much! I am enjoying my summer holiday off of uni and my goal this year was to travel a bit more. That’s why I am hoping to discover a few new cities in the Netherlands and Belgium. Discovering new cities and villages usually involves a lot of walking, so comfort is extra necessary during these warm months. In this post I will be talking you through a few of my go-to clothing items for when I am off to discover new cities during the summer season.

There have been a few bags that I have really liked this summer and I wanted to talk about them on the blog. It definitely feels a bit weird to dedicate a whole blog posts to four bags that I have been really loving this year, but the ‘personal style’ blogger in me just could not resist to do it anyway.

This year I have definitely seen multiple bags float around Instagram that I really like and over the past few months I have been trying to find myself affordable dupes of these bags that I seem to love. I am definitely one of those people who cannot afford to buy myself a new designer bag every month, so I always try to find similar products at stores such as Mango, Pull & Bear, Primark and Topshop. All of these stores have definitely treated me well this year and have made me found all of the bags I had been lusting after.

Shirtdresses seem to have made a comeback for summer this year. Everywhere you look you’ll find these dresses in stores, on girls, on social media. They’re everywhere. And I love it. Wearing shirtdresses during summer is something I always look forward to and I pretty much always include them into wardrobe essentials, because they truly are summer wardrobe staples to me. So when I mentioned these shirtdresses in my wardrobe essentials post, I got the question if I could share a few of my favourite bits, where I get my shirt dresses as well as how I style them. That’s pretty much what I will be talking about in this post.

To me shirtdresses are such a great piece to invest in as I pretty much wear shirtdresses everyday when I am off on holiday. There are always a few items staple colours that I like to have my shirtdresses in.

We have had a couple of really beautiful warm days here in The Netherlands. That got me looking into alternative items of clothing other than jeans or smart trousers, as I don’t really like to wear dresses, shorts or skirts at work or uni during the day. That’s when I stumbled upon linen trousers and boy I am hooked. Ever since I have gotten these linen trousers I am just constantly hunting for new pairs of linen trousers and anything other linen. This post pretty much is a dedication to why I love linen clothing.

This post is so long overdue. I had been meaning to write this post for Friday, but I ended up getting ill and it resulted in me sleeping throughout most of the weekend. The season is changing and the weather really has been so beautiful lately! This got me so excited for springy and summery clothes. With the seasons changing, I went looking for a few new wardrobe essentials in my wardrobe for the upcoming two seasons. In February I already told you how much I was struggling to find SS18 clothes that I actually like for this season. It has taken me a while to figure out what clothes I would love to wear, and three months later I feel like I finally found all the items I will love and waer so much during the upcoming seasons.

Just a few days after I posted my five favourites, I also am sharing five fashion favourites of 2017. I had been dying to write this post but only just now got around to typing up this post. I hope it's not too late, as we're already 12 days into January. However, I felt like I wanted to talk you through a few of fashion bits that I have been loving so much throughout the last year, and will probably use and love a lot this year again too.

I am a massive coat hoarder and this year I can't seem to stop buying coats! I seem to be finding coats that I love everywhere this season and friends and family commented on that I should probably stop buying them pretty soon. Winter coats are just such a massive wardrobe staple in my opinion. Especially when you're only wearing all black outfits like I usually do during winter. They can instantly make your winter outfits look a lot more interesting. As promised earlier this week, here is my long awaited winter coats post.

This post is so, so long overdue. I had been planning to write this post for ages now, but only just got sitting down and actually typing this post up. With the seasons changing, I am always buying myself new clothes for the upcoming season. Every autumn season I am kind of starting to discover what I like to wear for those upcoming months. And this autumn I had a hard time trying to figure out what exactly would be statement pieces in my wardrobe this season. So without further or do, here are a few autumn wardrobe essentials to freshen up your wardrobe a bit.

I always post these summer beach/holiday essentials when I'm off on holiday soon. It gets me into the zone of what I would like to bring with me on holiday and I like to share what I normally bring with me on holiday, which usually is a whole pile of clothes that I don't really need, but bring anyway. Yeah, I'm that overpacker.

It's that time of the year where most people leave to go on holiday, and this year all of my friends seem to come to me to ask me what they should bring on holiday with them. So instead of constantly making lists, I decided to make one public packing list that shows everyone what I think are essentials for a minimalist with a minimalist wardrobe.
