Autumn probably is one of my all time favourite seasons. There is just so many great things about autumn. The weather, the orange and brown leaves, the fashion! Especially the fashion. As much as I love summer and just getting away for the summer for a while, I'm also always so excited for this season to come around. In today’s post I thought it would be fun to share what I love and look forward to most this season.

All the cosy knits

First things first, I think we are all so bloody excited to start wearing knits again. Wearing knits definitely is one of my favourite things in about autumn. I love everything about knits, they’re cozy, they keep you warm and it’s just great to snuggle into. I love wearing jumpers because it feels like I am wearing a blanket around me that I can snuggle into when it’s cold in class at uni or at work.

But what I love most is that I find that autumn fashion looks best on me. I love to create little outfits with lots of cozy knits, leather jackets and boots.

Being able to wear boots again

Which is why I also am looking forward to wear boots again. I only really tend to wear my boots in autumn (on a daily basis). So whenever autumn rolls back around I slowly start to get my boots collection out again. Not only because this is the only way to keep my feet semi warm when I am going places, but also because it has been a long while since I last wore them. A season switch up just makes me very excited for getting out clothing that has disappeared to the back of my closet for a good half a year.

Crisp autumn mornings and autumn walks

My all time favourite thing about autumn is going for walks and just crisp autumn mornings. You know when it’s very chilly, but there’s a clear blue sky out and the air feels very fresh? Those are just the best days, aren’t they? It makes me appreciate autumn so much. It makes you appreciate the people you are with so much.

Warming up at cute cafes with coffee or tea

Then after you’ve had a long walk through the forest or somewhere else, it’s just the best to get all warm and toasty while drinking a cup of coffee, or even better! A hot chocolate! There’s nothing better than just sitting in a cute café watching people and the world go by.

Reading books while being snuggled up on the sofa

I also tend to think that there’s nothing better than rainy autumn Sundays. Rainy autumn Sundays are the best for reading books or watching a film while being snuggled up on the sofa all day. That’s definitely one of my favourite things to do in autumn and one of the things I actually catch myself doing A LOT, even when it’s any other season throughout the year.
