The New Year usually always comes with lots of New Years resolutions. I never really tend to stick to my New Years resolutions, because I end up setting unrealistic goals and am just too lazy to actually work on it. So this year I had a really good think about what I wanted to change in my life in 2017.
Over the
past few years I have travelled some places, but once I have discovered a city
that I absolutely love (say London), I always want to go back to that specific
place. But because there are so many other cities that I would love to
discover, I want to visit two new cities that I haven’t visited before. Now
because I’m still a student and I don’t really have the largest budget because
most of my money is spent on books and uni, I would like to make it European
cities for now.
Cities that I would like to visit are for example Edinburgh, Dublin, Barcelona, Prague and Copenhagen! So all I need to do now is to find friends and/or family who would like to accompany me to these cities and save up some money for some city trips!

Drink at least 1,5
litres of water a day
In 2016 I
really haven’t been taking the best care of my body. I always forget to drink
enough water during the day, and I really notice that my skin starts to act up
when I don’t drink enough water. So in 2017 I want to drink at least 1,5 litres
a day, which is completely doable in my opinion. I already downloaded an app to
help keep track of how much water I drink and this first week has been pretty
good so far!
My aesthetician also told me to really get into drinking more water so my acne can clear up and hopefully, eventually clear up and toxins are flushed out of my system.

Read more literature
When I was
younger I always used to read books. Somewhere along the way of high school I
just had to many exams to study for in the evenings and stopped reading for
pleasure. Nowadays I only read books during my holidays. But whenever I do
finish reading a book when I’m at home, I just feel so relaxed. So to get
anxiety and stress out of my body I would like to start reading more books this
year. First on my list? Pride and Prejudice!
To have breakfast
every morning
This is
such a bad habit of mine, but during 2016, I started to feel really exhausted.
Whenever I had to go to uni I always managed to snooze my alarm until the very
last moment and I ended up rushing to go to uni in the morning. Because I had
other things to do in the morning (shower, print documents, do homework etc) I
always forgot to have breakfast. Even typing this down, I hate myself for not
having a proper breakfast every morning.
So this year I am going to start having breakfast and I am going to try and plan them, as well as try to prepare them in advance. I already found some really yummy breakfast muffin recipes that I can prepare in the weekends and some new yoghurt ideas

So I guess you could say that I should start planning.
I probably should start planning my city trips, need to write down lists of
books that I want to read. And most importantly, I need to start having
breakfast before I go to work/uni and I really need keep keeping track of my
water intake!
Great resolutions - I can definitely relate with some! I'd love to do a bit of travelling to more places in Europe. xx
