FIVE FAVOURITES OF SEPTEMBER

This post contains affiliate links. Please read my full disclaimer here.
Once again, we’re at the start of a new month. September went by in an absolute blur, as I was on holiday for most of the time during September. We’re in October now and it seems like autumn is well and truly here. Since I have been back from my holiday I have seen lot of rain and let’s say it’s been quite the adjustment going from 20-plus degree weather to coming back to 12 degrees Celsius weather with non-stop rain. I was expecting this five favourites post to be super summer related, but now looking back at it, it’s actually not as bad as I thought it was going to be. So without further or do, my five favourites…

Chilly water bottle

I obviously needed to hydrate lots while I was away on holiday. This year I decided to bring my Chilly water bottle with me. One of the reasons is because it would mean we wouldn’t have to buy plastic bottles of water. The other reason being my bottle would keep my water cool and pleasurable to drink whenever I accidentally left it out in the sun or was out and about for the entire day. This bottle is definitely expensive, but also worth every penny. Whenever friends or family or anyone really asks me about my chilly bottle, I always tell them to buy it, as it’s just the handiest thing ever to have if you are out and about and want your water with you.

L’Occitane Almond Shower Oil

The heat in Spain always dries out my skin. I had been holiday prepping since June, which is when I bought this shower oil. I treated myself to this one, which would have to be my favourite shower product. It’s definitely a luxury product, but I used this every day while I was away on holiday and only moisturised my body with an oil or lotion on a couple of days. This shower oil left my body feeling moisturised enough to not put another moisturising lotion on afterwards. I already bought the refill packaging as I cannot wait to also use this during the winter when my body also tends to become quite dry.

La Roche Posay Anthelios 50+ Shaka fluid

Obviously my holiday favourites post could not have been written without mentioning at least one sort of sunscreen. I am always scared to get extreme breakouts on my face while I am away on holiday, as I am anxious to see if the sunscreen I am using is clogging my pores. I have used the La Roche Posay Anthelios 50+ Shaka Fluid for over four months now and it has not broken me out since I got it. The true test for me was my holiday, as I am applying and reapplying it multiple times a day. Again, I did not have any breakouts and I honestly think it has really helped my skin to step away from SPF with perfume in it.

This Works Morning Expert Hyaluronic Serum

A couple of months the girls at This Works sent over this hyaluronic serum for me to try. I fell absolutely in love with it and when I ran out I was quite bummed. I recently repurchased this for myself and have truly fallen back in love with it. This serum is super hydrating, which is something I am always after in my skincare products. This definitely does the job of hydrating my face without me having any sort of skincare reaction to it. This serum, according to the ingredients, also contains the tiniest amount of vitamin C, but I think that’s actually better for me. I have tried vitamin C serums in the past but have always had reactions from it. Maybe I just haven’t found the right one just yet, so if you have recommendations, let me know!

H&M cream knit cardigan

This H&M cardigan has been worn to death at the end of August, the beginning of September and I even wore it a couple of times while away on holiday. You definitely can notice it’s a bit chillier in Spain during September, so I brought this cardigan with me to keep myself warm during those colder evenings. I still absolutely love this cardigan and have worn it at least four times since I have been back from my holiday last week. This cardigan has become a true staple in my transitional weather wardrobe.
