March flew by and we're already a week into April. I feel like I say this every month, but honestly, where does time go? And most importantly: How is it every month flying by? It took me a while to sit down and properly think about my five favourites of the month of March, mainly because my brain turned to mush after I turned in all of my assignments for uni. So it took me a little while to think of them all, but I soon realised that I have been loving quite a few fashion bits over the past month. So without further or do, these are the five things I have been loving during the month of March.
Stradivarius boots
I stumble across these
boots from Stradivarius at the end of February. I definitely did not need another pair of boots, especially a pair of boots that were made for winter. However, I loved the style of these boots, so I felt like I had to get them. They were on sale for €35, which is such a bargain! Besides the very budget friendly sale tag these booties had, my eyes first caught these booties because of the design. I love how it's quite a 'tough' bootie, but looks quite elegant because of the ankle bit that has a bit of a 'sock boot' kind of feel. They had to be mine after I saw them in store and immediately bought them afterwards. They weren't too comfortable to walk in at first, I got a lovely wound on my heel, but thankfully they are so much more comfortable to walk in now.
Kiehl's Centella cleanser
One of my favourite cleansers is the Kiehl's Centella cleanser. In February I decided to start using another cleanser, because I had run out of the
Kiehl's Centella cleanser, but I hated it. It broke me out and it left my skin feeling so tight and really squeaky clean. Which is something I also don't like. So I had to re-order my trusty old Centella cleaner and also got myself a back up. I'm not sure why, but I couldn't find it on the Dutch Kiehl's website. I felt panicky, as I was scared that it got discontinued. When I stumbled across it at another website, I had to stock up, which is why I bought two. So for now I am happy and content with having enough of this cleanser.
*Update, looking to find a website that still sells it and I can't seem to find it anymore. Just on the Harrods website. So I'm pretty sure it has been discontinued. I'm going to cry in the corner of my room now.
Charlotte Tilbury Healthy Glow Tint moisturiser
This
Charlotte Tilbury Healthy Glow Tint moisturiser made it yet again into one of my favourites post. Now that the weather is slowly starting to get warmer again, I look for different, lighter makeup products for my face. Last time I mentioned this product, was in October of last year, but it has slipped back into my collection during the month of March. I love it as it doesn't break me out and even makes me acne prone oily skin look healthy. When you're oily, you can start looking like a disco ball when products should make you look 'healthy' or 'glowy', however this product does not end up making me look like a disco ball. It's just such a gorgeous product that gives you a gorgeous holiday glow!
Tigi Bed Head Oh Bee Hive! dry shampoo
I have quite an oily scalp, so dry shampoo is my best friend in life therefore I'm always on the hunt for a good new dry shampoo that gives you lots of volume. This
Tigi Bed Head Oh Bee Hive! dry shampoo does that job. It's a lovely product which also happens to smell lovely, a bit sweet even. At first I did have to get used to this smell, as it's so sweet and dry shampoo would not normally smell like this. I liked this scent though, as my hair dressers used to use this at her salon and it instantly brought me back to them. So what I do, is I spray this in my hair before I go to bed at night and then when I wake up the next morning I just brush it out. I find that this is the best way to work with this dry shampoo.
Lancaster Mademoiselle Ana bag
Sometimes you just go through a certain period in time when you get a bag out and fall completely in love with it again. Throughout the month of March I have been having the biggest moment with my
Lancaster Mademoiselle Ana bag. It's just a very versatile, Gucci-inspired, bag. I can fit all of my necessities in there and sometimes am even capable of carrying a bottle of water in there with me too. So yes, it's such a great bag that I love using when I am off into town to hang out with friends, or when I'm in another city. What makes this kind of bag great, is that you can never carry a bag around with you that is too heavy. I know I used to get so grumpy when I would have to carry a bag around with me that was so heavy.
I think I've said this before but I absolutely love that bag! It looks and sounds like just the perfect everyday piece ♥︎
