SUMMER BEAUTY ESSENTIALS

The past few months I have rediscovered and discovered so many great skincare and base makeup products. These products definitely have become summer beauty favourites of mine and I I felt like I wanted to share them with you.

Paula’s Choice Pore Normalizing cleanser

These past few months I have really spent my money investing in a new skincare routine. Call me an idiot, but I only just now decided that I wanted to give Paula’s Choice products a go. To start of with, I wanted to try something, so I bought myself a mini of the Paula’s Choice Pore Normalizing cleanser. I don’t know how it happened or what happened, but this cleanser is a little miracle for my skin. It cleanses your skin but doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry. My skin feels so soft after cleansing, but most importantly, somehow this product seems to control my breakouts a lot!

Rituals Cleansing balm

I am a big lover of cleansing balms and oils. However, I do find that the ones that have lots of ingredients in the product tend to break me out. I stumbled upon the Rituals cleansing balm, which is vegan friendly and cruelty free. That sounded like such a big plus to me, so I felt obliged to give this product a go. So far this product is such a treat to use. It smells lovely too!

Aloe Vera Gel

My cousin introduced me to this product last year. This is one of those products that is multifunctional. Got badly sunburnt on holiday? Use aloe vera gel. Have a little scratch? Use aloe vera gel. Got a little pimple on your face? Use aloe vera gel! And that is definitely new to me. Aloe vera gel helps get rid of pimples too. It somehow calms down the skin and makes it look less red, what a beautiful product, right? If you’re going to invest in an aloe vera gel, definitely look for one that has 95% to 99% aloe vera gel in there, because some also contain alcohol, and I would never, ever put something that has alcohol in it on my face. I would immediately have a flare up. I use the Aloe Pura Aloe Vera gel.

Rituals Face SPF

Another product from Rituals that I really love is their face SPF. It’s a beautiful SPF that doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky after putting it on. It also does not break me out, which also seemed to be a bit of a miracle to me. I use this SPF daily after I have moisturized my skin and before I put on any other kind of makeup.

Kiehl’s Glow Formula Skin Hydrator

I feel like I have spoken about this product so much already, so I will keep this one short and sweet. This Kiehl's Glow Formula Skin Hydrator is a gorgeous product that leaves your skin looking so lovely and glowy. I love to put this product on after I have put my SPF on. I either use it just on its own if I don’t feel like wearing makeup. If I do wear makeup, this kind of works as a primer before I put on my makeup.

Charlotte Tilbury healthy glow

This product definitely has received a lot of praise of me these past few weeks. I’ll just keep this short and snappy too. I love to put this on if I don’t use the Kiehl’s Glow Formula Skin Hydrator. The Charlotte Tilbury healthy glow is is another gorgeous product that gives you this really beautiful sun kissed glow.
