MY SHORT FLIGHT MAKEUP BAG ESSENTIALS

I’m off on holiday soon and I always seem to be a bit confused as what I must bring with me on the plane when I am off on a short haul flight. I especially get a bit confused by my makeup bag that I bring with me on my short haul flight. I tend to avoid wearing any makeup on the plane because it gives me great anxiety knowing I will suffer from a really bad breakout a few days later. So I usually only just bring a couple of makeup products with me when I am off to sit on a plane for about 4 hours.

Charlotte Tilbury Healthy Glow

This year I will be adding a product to my makeup bag that’s usually not in there. I definitely will be bringing my Charlotte Tilbury Healthy Glow with me. I think it will be nice to put this on once I get off the plane and want to look semi-decent in the morning. I have talked you through this product so much already. It’s an amazing product that gives you this gorgeous, healthy looking sun kissed glow.

Powder and a little brush

As much as I love a bit of a healthy looking glow, I don’t want to go to the other end of the spectrum and be a big shiny mess. No one will like your face looking like a disco ball and I get extra oily whenever I get on a plan. So I feel like I definitely need to bring a powder along with me to prevent myself from looking like a big shiny mess when get off the plane. Right now I am still using the Vichy Normaderm powder as I love it so much and it’s still the right shade for me.

Of course I also have to have a powder brush with me to put the powder on. So I think I will just be bringing a small brush with me so I can just make my T-zone a bit less oily. This is the perfect brush to do that with.

Rollerball perfume

A rollerball perfume is just so easy to use, right? I love putting it In my hand luggage as I can feel a bit dirty after I get off the plane. I know this makes no sense, but to me putting on a bit of perfume definitely helps with feeling a little fresher. I know it makes no sense because you’re not actually getting any germs off, but at least I will smell nice. The rollerball that I will be bringing in my carry on makeup bag is the Chloe perfume. It’s such a lovely scent that I tend to put on every now and again when I want to switch up my perfume a bit.

Moisturizing lip balm

My lips always feel so dry because of airplanes. I always suffer from really bad chapped lips, and feel like I definitely need to use a moisturizing lip balm. On the plane my lips tend to get a lot more chapped, so I need my moisturizing lip balm. That’s why I usually like to bring this Nuxe Reve de Miel lip balm with me. I have repurchased this a couple of times now. It’s such a lovely and moisturizing product. Only thing is that I would much rather get myself a chapstick version of this, and I will definitely be checking if it’s available so I can get my hands on it before I go away on holiday.

Compeed anti-blister stick

If there’s one word that will describe me it’s comfort. I am all about it and like to be especially comfortable whenever I travel. That also means wearing trainers on the plane. I know I definitely will not need this Compeed anti-blister stick when I am travelling, but this miracle product is just always in all of my makeup bags. It feels weird to leave it out. And besides that, you never know when or if you or someone you’re travelling with might need it. This stick is amazing and prevents you from having any blisters at all! Such a miracle product!

Contacts solution

I wear contacts and I hate wearing my glasses when it’s sunny outside. Somehow the reflection of the sun on a pair of glasses gives me a really bad headache that can easily lead to a migraine. That’s why I usually just like to have my contacts in whenever I fly. But because of this I also have to bring my contacts solution with me. You never know when your contacts might decide to be annoying, right?
