A GO-TO SPRING LOOK

I had been wanting to post this outfit post for ages, because I was just so thrilled about these shots. I shot this outfit a few weeks ago but never really had time to edit the photos up until Wednesday evening. However, I still wanted to share this outfit with you, as it is one of my go-to outfits that I wear at the moment. I would say this is one of my go-to spring looks of this year. If you know me, then you know I am all about comfort. I love wearing comfortable outfits, so this outfit pretty much fits that description.

This outfit is a very easy, basic, but most importantly, comfortable outfit. In my opinion this look looks so effortless but pulled together because of the blazer. Keep on reading if you want to see what elements I incorporate into my current go-to spring look.

Oversized blazers

Blazers are back and I am here for this trend. I still feel like I need to step up my blazer game a bit, as I only pretty much have this black H&M oversized blazer, a white oversized blazer, a cream oversized blazer and my beloved Mango Prince of Wales print blazer. However, I love putting on a blazer over a tee. It instantly pulls an outfit together and l think it adds a little something extra to the outfit.

Basic tees

Lately I have been going through a bit of a vibe where I just constantly want to wear basic tees. I feel like basic tees are such an essential in every gals wardrobe and instantly make an outfit look more relaxed. A basic tee is of course a wardrobe staple in everyone’s closet, and since I am pretty much a basic kinda girl, it comes as no surprise that I am constantly wearing a basic tee.
Basic tees combined with blazers are great during the springtime, because you can wear them together and don’t go into overheating mode. I am always hot and I would rather be too cold than too hot. So I would much rather just wear a black or white tee so I can be cool and breezy whenever the weather is a bit unpredictable.

Mom jeans

In my spring/summer wardrobe essentials post I already talked to you about how much I am loving mom jeans at the moment. I finally managed to find a pair that fit me properly and still look semi-good on a small person, thank you ASOS. Now that I finally found ‘the pair’ I am constantly wearing mom jeans. They’re just so comfortable, aren’t they? I honestly hate wearing tighter jeans now that I am constantly wearing mom jeans or boyfriend jeans.

These jeans are especially great when it’s a warmer spring day. Lately we have been having a lot of hot days. I still managed to wear these jeans even though it was shorts and dresses kind of weather. I feel like these jeans are still very airy so I can pull these jeans off while I am still a bit uncomfortable with showing a lot of leg right now.

Who would have thought I could talk this much about mom jeans? I guess I am just very happy that I finally found myself a pair that I think suit me. So yes, now I am pretty much obsessed with mom jeans and I want to own each and every one of the ASOS Farleigh petite mom jeans now.

White platform trainers

I am a trainer kinda gal. I am basically always walking around in trainers, so its no surprise really that I am mentioning them in this post. Lately I have been l loving wearing my white trainers from Pull & Bear that I got a few months back. Fresh white trainers just look so much cooler than dirty, older white trainers, but what I especially love about these trainers, is the little platform it has. It gives me a bit more length, but also still makes me look kinda cool. Usually I am a real klutz too and am constantly stumbling around in platform shoes, but these are surprisingly comfortable and easy to walk in.

What I'm wearing:
H&M blazer (in pink)
ZARA tee
ASOS jeans
Pull & Bear trainers (similar)
Lancaster bag
Céline sunnies
