3 OUTFITS WITH PINK CLOVE

Pink Clove has gifted the items mentioned in this post to me. I styled these outfits myself and all opinions are my own. Please read my full disclaimer here.

It feels like it has been a while since I have last done a really fashion-y post. It’s probably because it’s been a while because it has been a while too. My last fashion-y post was during Christmas, which already seems ages ago! Back in December Pink Clove got in contact with me to see if I wanted to receive some outfits to put together an outfit. Pink Clove offers a really big selection of clothes to us curvier girls and since I am all body-positivity, which the brand is too. It felt like we were a good match, which is why I wanted to do this blog post. Pink Clove gifted me four items I picked myself that I knew I would end up loving and also would wear lots in the future. I thought it would be fun to create three outfits with these items I got gifted because the items I chose are so easy to mix and match with each other as well as items I already own. Since I made it a personal goal to be more conscious of clothing (purchases) this year, I want to make sure I will be able to wear these items lots. This sort of post would be the best kind of way to show how easy it is to style just four items in three different ways. Obviously the options are endless with the sort of items I picked, which is even better, as it means you'll probably will be seeing lots of shots of me wearing these items in the future.
The first outfit I styled actually features three out of four pieces I got gifted by Pink Clove. I styled their Fleece Western jacket with their black turtleneck jumper and their pair of black pinstripe trousers. This would probably be an outfit I would wear if I were still at uni. It’s a super comfortable outfit and the jumper keeps you super cosy and warm. The pinstripe trousers instantly give it a bit more of a business-esque look. Because the trousers are actually quite baggy, I decided to tuck the trousers into my Chelsea boots to give them a bit more of a casual kind of look. I need to get these shortened as they are currently also a bit too long for me, but that’s also why I tucked them into the boots. I styled it all together with this cute jacket from Pink Clove, as you can never really go wrong with a teddy coat.
The second outfit is more with early spring-weather in mind. I decided to once again get my Primark midi skirt out and style it with the super cosy and warm black turtleneck I got from Pink Clove. This is definitely an outfit I would wear as soon as we hit double digits again. I would make the outfit look pulled together with a tough pair of biker boots like this and the teddy jacket. This would be the perfect to wear if you’re off into town during the weekend and it would even be an outfit I would wear like this if I am off to get dinner with friends.
For the last outfit I chose to wear something so super comfortable that it made for the perfect kind of Sunday outfit. Thank god joggers have come back into style as I am currently constantly living in them during the weekend at the moment. Anyway, this is the sort of outfit I would wear if I would go into town or for a walk during the weekends. I would wear something that is super comfortable and will keep me warm. I chose a pair of black joggers I already owned. I went for black instead of my grey ones, as they look less like joggers than the grey ones. I would wear the grey ones out into town, but would have worn a longer coat over them, to not really emphasise the jogger-style trousers as much. Because I went for the black joggers I could style it with the teddy jacket, as it just looks cute. I added a bit of colour by wearing this white turtleneck Pink Clove jumper that is fast becoming one of my cosy jumpers to wear if I want to be super comfortable and feel like I am wearing something that feels as cosy as pyjamas. The chunky shoes are probably the only thing that makes this outfit look a lot more sport, but they are my go-to pair of shoes if I want to be comfortable for walks or when I’m in town.
