Happy Christmas! This is the last post I will be posting this Christmas, so first of all, I just want to wish you a Merry Christmas! And if you don't celebrate Christmas, I just want to wish you a very, happy and beautiful day! I wasn't feeling that Christmassy over the last couple of weeks, but over the last few days I somehow found my Christmas spirit. There's a few things I am really looking forward to this Christmas that I wanted to share with you.
SEEING MY FAMILY
The first thing I am looking forward to this christmas is seeing my family. My family and I are very close. We see each other on every birthday or other festive day. And we always get together during this time of year to have either a Christmas Lunch or Christmas Dinner. This year we're having a Christmas lunch and I am already looking forward to just sitting down in a restaurant all afternoon to hang out and catch up with all of my family.GIFTING
Another thing I look forward to during Christmas is finally being able to give my gifts to everyone. The most fun thing about Christmas to me is the whole thought process that goes behind buying everyone gifts. I usually try to get everyone their gifts around October/November time or when I do get them in December, I have this whole thought process behind it, so to finally be able to share the gifts that picked for the people I love, is just very exciting!FOOD
Let's just be honest, the best thing about Christmas probably is all the food we eat throughout those days. I love preparing the food with my mum in the kitchen. It feels like we bond even more. And during the dinners, I always end up eating way too much. By the end of the night I am usually in a food coma on the couch, watching the telly with my fam.THE HOME ALONE MARATHON
And while I am in my food coma on the sofa watching the telly with my parents, I usually end up watching all of the Home Alone movies. They're always on during the Christmas days, and they're just such classic Christmas movies to watch. I have watched them every year for as long as I can remember with my cousins and my brother. So it's only normal to continue watching these movies with my parents - even though they can't stand to watch them anymore.
