Happy October. I am so happy that it's October. September felt like it was dragging on forever and ever. To bring back a little bit of that September feeling, I am sharing my five favourites of this month again with you. I was having a hard time thinking of my favourites of September, I just could not remember what I have been loving the past month. However I finally had an 'aha moment' and found all of my favourites of the month of September again. So without further or do, my September favourites.
Daniel Wellington Classic Black Sheffield watch
The first of five favourites this past month is my Daniel Wellington Classic Black Sheffield 40 mm watch. I absolutely adore this watch because it's such a timeless piece. It looks good with pretty much every outfit that I wore in September. It didn't really make an appearance on the blog, but I wore this so much while being at uni.
This watch has such a chic and luxurious feel. Whereas with some watches I feel like I need to wear lots of jewelry to make a watch look interesting, this watch looks beautiful on its own. I also feel like this watch will be perfect for the upcoming season, as it is a black and rose gold watch that looks chic with chunky jumpers.
Moroccan Oil Thickening Lotion
The second thing I have been really loving during September is this thickening lotion from Moroccan Oil. My hair was becoming quite long during September and I was in desperate need of a haircut. I always notice that whenever my hair gets longer, it loses its volume and I just look like a scary ghostly figure with sleek hair.
My hair is quite thin anyway, so I like to create the effect of having very voluminous hair. This lotion is so perfect and does the job so well. It doesn't make my roots oily, like some other voluminous hair products can do. I use this thickening lotion on either wet or damp hair and then blow dry my hair afterwards. Et voila, you have volume in your hair.
Urtekram No Perfume Shower Gel*
I felt like I had to talk about this shower gel. I have quite sensitive skin and can only use a few shower gels that don't leave me feeling itchy throughout the day. In July the lovely girls from Triangle PR sent me some organic Urtekram products that I was dying to try. I am always a bit hesitant to trying organic products, because I once got a really bad allergic reaction from using organic products.
The Urtkekram No Perfume Shower Gel* sounded interesting because it didn't contain any perfume. Because I was going away on holiday in August, I only got around to starting to try this shower gel during the end of August. This has been my shower gel for the past month and I am in love with it. It is a very moisturizing shower gel and I feel like I don't have to moisturize with some sort of body lotion afterwards. It doesn't have a particular scent, which is also nice if you're not really into having a fragranced shower gel.
Besides that this organic shower gel doesn't leave me feeling itchy, which is basically the most important part of me finding a shower gel. I am quite curious to discover a few other products from Urtekram, as I feel like they're one of those organic brands that actually are really good at what they do.
Mango Prince of Wales blazer
This blazer has been such an obsession of mine later. Basically who isn't obsessed with the check print trend at the moment? I already discussed how much I love this blazer in a blog post last month. I feel like it's such a versatile piece of clothing that you can basically style with everything in your wardrobe.
I love styling this beautiful blazer with jumpers, tees and it also looks good with blouses. I feel like I haven't truly debuted my love for this blazer on the blog as much as I would like to have done, as I have been quite busy with uni lately.
Because there's such a high demand in these blazers, they seem to sell out so fast. I found a similar blazer from Mango here, because they don't seem to sell my exact blazer anymore. This ASOS blazer is also very gorgeous, which you can find here.
I feel like I mentioned Suitcase magazine when I first stumbled across this magazine in July in my local bookstore. Now that I discovered that they have a new issue out, I had to pick it up. This magazine is so beautifully created. It's filled with very beautifully curated content. Besides that de photos are so stunning too.
Whenever I am starting to feel a bit uninspired with my blog, I tend to browse through this magazine. This magazine makes me realize why I like to write again, but also makes me feel inspired to talk about different sorts of topics. To talk more about personal topics.
It's just a very beautiful and inspiring magazine and would highly recommend either flicking through it when you're at the bookstore. Or just pick it up and feel inspired to travel all over the world.
I love the blazer, i picked up a similar one recently and have hardly taken it off
