Even though the weather today (and just this week in general) is so off.. I had to wear some sort of a summer outfit. Earlier this week we had one better day, where I could actually wear shorts out. The rest of the week has been stormy, rainy and very grey. Welcome to Dutch summers.

This top is from ZARA and I got it in the sale recently. It was such a good bargain. I can't seem to find it online anymore, but they might still have it in stores. I really wanted to style this gingham top with a pair of denim shorts, as I felt like that would look really nice. I styled this outfit with my Gucci dupe slip ons. I have not worn these much since I got them, but really had been saving them for summer. Sadly enough it seems like summer is pretty much over.

Gingham has been one of those trends that I have been really loving this season. I have not really worn gingham much myself, but loved the look of gingham on other bloggers and influencers on Instagram. I especially loved the gingham dresses, but I'm not really a dresses kind of gal, so I never really tried one on. For now, I am just going to stick to gingham tops, but who knows, I might end up buying a gingham dress after all on holiday.
