It has been so hot the last couple of days. I think it is fair to say that we have had a heatwave the last couple of days and I absolutely loved it. It was too bad that I had to work all of the days, but I definitely did get to enjoy the sun last week.

As much as I love the heat and just enjoy summer as a season, I do get quite uncomfortable whenever the weather is slowly starting to heat up. I always feel a bit insecure when there's lots of pretty girls around wearing just a pair of denim shorts and crop tops and just rocking it. I like to be covered up a bit more, so I am usually wearing jeans and a tee whenever the warmer weather comes back. This year however, I decided that whenever the weather gets a bit warmer, I wanted to be able to wear something that I feel comfortable in, without actually melting. I searched and looked online and inside my wardrobe and quickly came across lots of pretty pairs of culottes.

Culottes are perfect for this time of year, especially if you don't feel like getting your legs out just yet. I already own a few pairs of culottes, but felt like I also wanted to try a jumpsuit version of it. And so I did. I got this particular culotte jumpsuit at Wehkamp, which is a 'online department kind of store' here in The Netherlands. I loved the fit of these and am definitely going to be buying more pairs of culotte jumpsuits.

Jumpsuits are just so comfortable to wear. I love to wear them, especially during the summer. I tried to make this outfit look a bit more interesting by pairing it with an oversized blazer and my trusty Topshop loafers.
