In today's post I'll talk you through all the things I have been loving during the month of April. April seemed to fly by in a blur. I can't even seem to remember what I have been doing during April, so I had a hard time remembering what I had been loving during last month. Without further or do, here are my five favourites of April.
Now that summer is getting closer and closer, I really need to work on my tan. During the beginning of April the weather wasn't as summery as it was this past weekend. So it felt necessary to start "fake tanning" my legs. I usually end up doing a horrific job tanning my body, but I don't seem to be having that problem with this moisturizer. It leaves me looking like I went on holiday, which is a look I have been loving lately.
That brings me onto the next product I have been loving lots this month: my NARS Laguna bronzer. This is an old time fave, that I always gravitate towards when I feel like other bronzers might break me out. I love to use this particular bronzer on my cheekbones and onto my forehead as it gives me that bronzy glow.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo +
Like I said above, I have been breaking out a bit due to a bronzer and I am still trying to find the particular culprit. So to fight off some of my blemishes, I decided to repurchase this La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo + again. I used to buy this all the time back when I was in high school two years ago, so when I felt a bit lost as to what to do with my pimples, I decided to get this miracle worker to get some skin improvement.
Bioderma Photoderm AKN Mat SPF 30
There's always that certain month in the year where I feel like SPF in my makeup products isn't enough anymore to protect my skin from the sun. April happened to be that month this year. SPF is so important for your skin, so always make sure to use some! I really like this one because it doesn't break me out and because it isn't sticky. Some sunscreens can feel sticky, but this one doesn't at all! Which is a major plus!
The Read This If You Want To Take Great Photographs series
I know I mentioned the Read This If You Want To Take Great Photographs book in a favourite a looong time ago, but I reread it during April, and discovered the newer book: Read This If You Want To Take Great Photos of People. I love photographing friends and family so I felt like I could learn a lot from that book too. I love how easy to read these books are and these books just really inspire me to get back into photographing all sorts of things!
